STAFF     wellbeing

ENHANCING STAFF WELLBEING is on the agenda of many companies all around the country.  Sometimes, however, it’s not always easy to know what to provide, what might be genuinely helpful and what might just be an expensive box-ticking exercise.

RESILIENCE WELLBEING WORKSHOPS share current, well-researched, helpful information and coping strategies to manage stress, improve sleep and promote relaxation.

RECENT RESEARCH SHOWS the value of providing wellbeing support for staff.   Providing a compassionate workplace where employees feel valued and appreciated results in considerable benefits for staff and employers alike.  If you would like to know more please access the publications below:

HOLISTIC

wellbeing

3 hours

So many of us are trying to juggle too many things at once and combined with life’s challenges our wellbeing is often compromised leading to symptoms of stress experienced both in our minds and bodies.

Self-nurture and self-care, taking time out, or ‘me’ time, is often viewed negatively and seen as selfish, especially when we may have others to care for both in our personal life or in our working roles.  However, with self-care we improve our resilience and therefore our ability to engage fully in our lives and with those around us.

This 3 hour session provides an opportunity to relax and focus on wellbeing and introduces mindfulness meditations and visualisation techniques as well as active mindfulness techniques and practices to use at work and home to improve concentration, support stress reduction and aid relaxation.

Comfortable, tri-fold mats are provided that can be used folded as large meditation floor cushions (zabuton) or unfolded to allow the opportunity to lie down, if desired.  Meditation cushions are also provided (zafu) as are blankets, pillows and slippers - everything needed for a nurturing experience. (Comfortable clothes recommended.)

Decaffeinated coffee and tea as well as herbal teas are provided along with an assortment of fruit.

The Studio is on ground level.  It has heating and air-conditioning, a kitchen area and a fully accessible toilet.

Maximum 10 places.
